XPEL, Inc. is a global provider of protective films and coatings — paint protection film, surface protection film, automotive and architectural window films, and ceramic coatings — serving the automotive, architectural and marine markets, supported by its proprietary DAP pattern-design software. It reaches customers through a network of trained independent installers, new-car dealerships and company-owned installation centres, with roughly 62% of Q1 2026 revenue from North America and the balance spread across Asia Pacific, EU/UK/Africa, India and the Middle East, and Latin America. Historically an asset-light distributor that sourced film from third-party suppliers, XPEL is investing about $110 million through 2028 to bring more manufacturing in-house — including a 435,000 sq ft San Antonio site and an acquired manufacturing facility in China — in support of a stated goal of mid-20% run-rate operating margins by the end of 2028.
