Paramount Resources Ltd. is a Calgary-based Canadian energy company engaged in the exploration, development, and production of liquids-rich natural gas, oil, and natural gas liquids in western Canada. Its principal operations are concentrated in the Montney formation in the Grande Prairie region and the Duvernay formation in the Kaybob and Central Alberta regions. The company has been operating since 1976 and focuses on both conventional and unconventional resource plays.
